Dashboard Tutorial
How to use the TradeMind AI dashboard — search, chart, analysis, and signal generation from first click to locked signal.
Step 1 — Search a ticker
Type a ticker symbol (AAPL, BTC-USD, CBA.AX) or company name in the search bar. The autocomplete suggests matching tickers as you type. Press Enter or click a suggestion to load the analysis.
Step 2 — Read the chart
The chart loads with the last 90 days of daily candlesticks by default. Use the overlay toggles to add EMA20/50, Bollinger Bands, VWAP, or ATR. Use the indicator tabs for RSI, MACD, or Stochastic sub-charts.
Step 3 — Review the AI analysis
Scroll below the chart to see the AI analysis panel. This shows:
- BUY/HOLD/SELL recommendation from the AI
- Confidence level (Low/Medium/High)
- Specific reasoning points (technical + fundamental + sentiment)
- Risk assessment: downside %, stop suggestion, macro risks
- Outlook across three timeframes
Step 4 — Generate a signal
Below the analysis, click "Generate Signal for {TICKER}". This triggers a separate AI call to produce locked entry/stop/target prices. The signal is immediately locked and added to the public track record.
Note: Signal generation uses your daily quota. Free accounts get 5 analyses and 2 signals per day.
Step 5 — View your signal
After generation, the signal card appears on screen. It shows confidence score, factor breakdown bars (technical/fundamental/sentiment), entry/stop/target prices, R/R ratio, and driver points. Toggle "Simple mode" for a stripped-back view.
Watchlist
Add any ticker to your Watchlist using the star icon. Watchlisted tickers appear in the left panel with live daily % change. Tickers with active signals show an animated blue dot badge.
