TradeMind AI ("we", "us", "our") operates the website trademindai.com and related services. We are not a licensed financial adviser, broker, or investment company. Our service provides AI-generated stock analysis for educational and informational purposes only.
2. Information We Collect
We collect: ā¢ Account information: email address and hashed password when you register. ā¢ Usage data: stock tickers you search, signals you generate, and pages you visit ā used to improve the service. ā¢ Payment information: if you subscribe to Pro, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. ā¢ Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information via standard server logs. ā¢ Communications: emails you send us for support.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: ā¢ Provide and operate the service (stock analysis, signal generation, email reports). ā¢ Send transactional emails (registration confirmation, billing receipts, password reset). ā¢ Send optional marketing emails (daily digests, weekly summaries) ā only if you opt in via account settings. ā¢ Enforce our Terms of Service and prevent fraud. ā¢ Comply with legal obligations.
4. Email Marketing
We only send marketing and report emails to users who have enabled them in account settings. Every such email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also disable all reports at any time in /account. We do not sell or rent your email address to third parties.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: ā¢ Stripe ā payment processing (subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy). ā¢ Anthropic and OpenAI ā AI analysis requests contain ticker symbols and market data only, not your personal identity. ā¢ Hosting infrastructure (AWS EC2) ā your data is stored on encrypted servers. ā¢ Law enforcement ā if legally required.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. billing records retained for 7 years).
7. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You can disable cookies in your browser, but the service will not function correctly without the session cookie.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to processing. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@trademindai.com. We will respond within 30 days. To delete your account and all personal data, use the "Delete Account" option in your account settings (/account). Your signals will be anonymised (kept for the public audit trail but no longer linked to your identity). Australian residents: This policy complies with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). EU/UK residents: You have additional rights under GDPR/UK GDPR including the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
8a. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to any individual, we will notify affected users and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) within 30 days, as required by Australia's Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme under the Privacy Act 1988. Notification will be sent to your registered email address.
9. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, bcrypt password hashing, and access controls. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
10. Children
Our service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, contact us immediately.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
