Markets and Tickers Covered

Which stocks, ETFs, indices, and cryptocurrencies TradeMind AI supports — and how to format tickers correctly.

US stocks and ETFs

All major US-listed stocks and ETFs are supported. Use the standard ticker format: AAPL, MSFT, SPY, QQQ. No suffix needed for US tickers.

Australian stocks (ASX)

Add the .AX suffix: CBA.AX, BHP.AX, CSL.AX, WBC.AX. Price data comes from Yahoo Finance and is updated to the latest trading session close.

Cryptocurrencies

17 major cryptocurrencies are supported using the COIN-USD format:

  • Bitcoin: BTC-USD
  • Ethereum: ETH-USD
  • Solana: SOL-USD
  • And 14 more: BNB, XRP, ADA, DOGE, AVAX, MATIC, DOT, LINK, LTC, UNI, ATOM, TRX, TON, SHIB

Crypto prices are fetched from CoinGecko and updated live 24/7. Crypto signals are resolved against live CoinGecko prices (not end-of-day like stocks).

Indices

Major indices can be analysed for context: ^GSPC (S&P 500), ^NDX (NASDAQ 100), ^DJI (Dow Jones), ^VIX (volatility index). Signal generation is not available for indices — they are for analysis only.

What is not supported

Options, futures, forex pairs, bonds, and OTC/pink sheet stocks are not currently supported. Stocks with very low volume or liquidity may return incomplete data.
